The debacle
You don’t really need to View this spot to understand the current financial debacle,we all are in.But i feel we all need to map this to our daily life as such situations come once in a century and we all are fortunate or unfortunate for being part of it.
Everyone talks about subprime being the cause for this mess.I feel its just one of the consequences of an underlying bad economy.If not subprime something else would have bought this to the surface.Subprime is just the result of manipulating the regulatory mechanism of a financial system that is primarily market driven.
While i post this message,the number of banks and firms that would have filed for bankrupty could have crossed double digits,someof them ofcourse got in to this shape,because of their bad business decisions.The two biggest questions in everyones mind is ofcourse how long its going to last and who all would be impacted.
The answer to the second one is ofcourse going to be ‘EVERYONE’.The global economy is such a closely knit network that any change in any part of the world is going to effect the whole economy.Businesses have truly beome global.A simple example could be a bad harvest in western europe could have financial imapact on the CPG industry operating in the US.
How long is this going to last?
This of course is a million dollar question and businesses which have this answer are surely going to take an edge over others once they start climbing the hill up from this trough.
Lets wait and watch as events unfold!!!!
